International RFA Training Programを実施することになりました

当教室ではこれまで、RFAトレーニングプログラムを6回実施し、全国から計99名の受講者を集め、好評を博しています。

そこでこの度、海外の医師を対象としたInternational RFA Training Program を11月15（日）～11月22日（日）の8日間の予定で実施することとしました。海外の先生方だけでなく、日本に留学中の先生などでRFA治療に興味がある方の参加も可能です。

To whom it may concern:

It is our pleasure to inform you about International Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA) Training Program in Juntendo University Hospital.

Currently, RFA treatment has become a standard treatment modality for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC).

In Japan, since its early introduction in 1999, it has received reimbursement in the year 2004 and become popular as it is performed in about 1,400 facilities. However, its treatment outcome and skills among those facilities are known to vary significantly. Furthermore, as it has become to be applied to metastatic liver cancer, for its uncertainty in boundary caused by the tumor characteristics, it is requiring more advanced skills. This program is organized to improve these circumstances and to disseminate skills and know-hows for RFA treatment. Until today, we have held five training sessions for Japanese doctors, and the number of participants amounts to 80 doctors.

For those of who are interested in participating to this program, please fill in the application form, the personal resume, and send them in pdf file format with a recommendation letter from your manager.

【 Recommended participants】

Doctor who has experience in RFA operations as a main operator
(This training program is designed for intermediate to senior experienced doctors.)

【Number of availability】

Maximum 10 doctors　(Minimum number of participants: 5 people*)
*When the participants do not reach the number above, the session will be postponed. In this case, those of who have applied will be informed by the end of September.

【Date】

From November 15^th (Sun.) 2015 to November 22^nd (Sun.) 2015
8 days session with lectures, live demonstrations and case studies.

【Participation Fee】

60,000 JPY
Participation fee includes: Training sessions + Lunch (From Nov. 16^th to 20^th) / Dinner (only Nov. 15^th(after orientation) and 20^th)
The costs for the items not listed above (accommodation, flight ticket, transportation expense and etc.) are not included.
