Testimonial from Dr. John Mark Katindig Torres
8月5日から8月16日まで短期研修生として滞在したシンガポールのPhilippine General HospitalのJohn Mark Katindig Torres先生からTestimonialが送られてきましたのでそのまま掲載致します。
The world of gastroenterology fascinates me ever since and in the advent of evolving technology, I have recognized the need to embrace innovations for advanced learning and efficient service to our patients. My two-week clinical observership at Juntendo University Hospital under the Department of Gastroenterological Imaging and Interventional Oncology further inspires me to pursue my longterm dream. The program was well-organized; structured with different exposures to different department units like Radiofrequency ablation, Angiography and Pancreaticobiliary sections on a day to day basis. It has introduced me to the different innovative approaches and the standard of care we usually just get to read but cannot fully put into practice in our country. First hand exposure to radiofrequency and microwave ablation, different approaches to management for hepatocellular and pancreatic carcinoma from EUS FNAB to locoregional ablative techniques and angiographic procedures, further integrated not only the actual skills but rather the principles as we employ the said procedures. Introduction to these alternative interventions actually shed light to what seems to be an end in our management of advanced cases.
Sincerely,
John Mark K. Torres, MD
