3日目報告：5th International IVO Training Program
5th International IVO training program 3日目の本日はlive demonstrationsから開始となりました。
受講者は朝8時15分に集合し、スクラブに着替えlive demonstrationにのぞみました。Live demonstrationでは2例のRFAと1例の新世代MWAを実施しました。治療の合間には受講者と椎名教授との活発なディスカッションも行われました。
午後は「Artificial Ascites, artificial pleural effusion and other techniques in IVO (RFA & MWA)（by Dr. Taniki)」および「How to get good diagnostic imaging 」の2つのlecturesがありました。
その後、明日治療予定の3例のプランニングを実施しました。
また、昨日live demonstrationを実施した症例の治療前後の画像を比較して、治療効果を椎名教授、スタッフ、受講者全員で評価しました。3例とも腫瘍の遺残なく焼灼されていました。
本日も大変活気のあるトレーニングプログラムとなりました。
Today was the third day of the 5th International IVO training program. During the morning live demonstration 2 cases of RFA and one case of new generation MWA were performed, with a discussion session between each case.
In the afternoon 2 lectures were given: “Artificial Ascites, artificial pleural effusion and other techniques in IVO (RFA & MWA)”（by Dr. Taniki) and “How to get good diagnostic imaging”.
Then, planning was performed for the next day’s 3 cases.
Prof. Shiina, his team and the participants also compared images before and after treatment of yesterday’s live demonstration’s cases , and evaluated the treatment effect. All three cases had been ablated without any residual tumor.
