As a clinical observer in the department of gastroenterological imaging and interventional oncology, I really appreciate I could have this precious chance to learn with Professor 椎名. Although I only stayed 2 weeks in this department, I got lots of knowledge and opened my new horizon for the treatment for different kinds of patients as tumor frequency ablation, ERCP, TACE.
First, I would like to express my deepest appreciations to Pro. 椎名for his kindness and always described his views to me in detail. I was really impressed by the professor’s spirit and attitude when he faced the patients. I remember the shock when Professor椎名told me that he always finishes his OPD until midnight and still be energetic to face other patients in the next day. This spirit is worthy of emulation and I hope I could be this kinds of doctors in the future.
In addition, I want to show my thankfulness to the team who I’ve met. Thanks for Dr. 今井,佐藤,清水,高和,永松 for the generosity and detailed explanation for the different cases. Thanks for 金澤,石井 for showing the steps of endoscope and ERCP with great skills and helped me a lot. Last but not the least, I want to thanks the secretaries(小林、宮崎、中川、吉村) for solving my problems and preparing some great snacks or fruit for me.
