The intense five-day course is crucial and educational. I personally learned a lot of the knowledge and techniques from Prof. Shiina and his team. The fifteen cases demonstrated in these 5 days were different from each other, yet all with challenges. After the course, I think I picked some practical skills, including the use of contrast in ultrasound, artificial pleural effusion/ascites and the importance of fusion imaging. I definitely will bring these back to my work. Also, I will recommend my junior physicians to take this course as one of the “must-done” tasks before practicing ablation themselves.
